Bought 654 EE on line. Have worn this size for 5 years or so and same family model. These EE's are huge. They are so wide my foot moves in shoe.Something has changed--ie design , size control etc. As I wore them once the vendor will not take it back as they do not guarantee size. New Balance ,however, has agreed to replace them and without an argument. They are a great customer oriented company but this is still frustrating. They recommend I have foot remeasured before specifying size . 1 star

PLAYING TENNIS 40 YEARS AND ALWAYS WEARING NEW BALANCE, MOSTLY THE 650 SERIES LATELY. TO SAVE A FEW PENNIES THEY STARTED TO USE MORE OF THE SYNTHEDIC LEATHER(FORM OF VINYL)ON THE UPPERS,WHICH DOES NOT FORM TO YOU FEET,AND MAKES THE SHOE HOTTER. AFTER WEARING THE 654 FOR ABOUT TEN MINUTES AT HOME, I COULD FEEL THE SYNTHEDIC STRIP NEAR THE SMALL PINKY STARTING TO RUB PAINFULLY. RETURNED THEM, AND NOW WAITING FOR NEW BALANCE TO COME UP WITH AN ALL LEATHER UPPER IN THE 650 SERIES. 3 stars

It took a me a while before posting a review about this NB tennis shoes. I wanted to try it for sometime before making any comments. Overall, I was impressed with its performance. It's very stable and durable. And provides good cushioning too. Considering that I weigh about 190 lbs, it does provides a good deal of comfort. I used this shoes for both tennis and badminton. And to my surprise it performs really well on both sports. It helps create quick lateral movements. Also, it is light enough to allow you to get to the next shot. Definitely, a good value for your money. Some suggestions for improvement: a better quality shoe string(tougher and shorter), more snug fit on the forefoot. 4 stars
