This is the second time I've ordered this product. Each time I have recieved the product, it has been relatively odor free. Then, in about a month, it usually develops an odor and its effectiveness becomes less potent. Since this odor was different each time, I can only assume it is because of metabolism by microorganisms, meaning that this product is perishable.

I checked the 1FAST400 website on this and it says to store in a cool, dry place and the powder should be good for 3 years.

Now that I am aware of this, I will store the product in the refrigerator next time around (Product website says not to freeze the powder).

The reason I will order it again is because it is highly effective with a daily tablespoon dose (what I calculated the label recommended), while uncontaminated. I noticed a huge difference in creativity as well as the negation of next day affects of alcohol consumption. This is important to me as a student and a writer.

The product is very bitter. I have found the easiest way to take it is by putting the whole tablespoon dose in my mouth and then sipping a bit of water, swishing to let it dissolve and then swallow. Followed by a whole glass of water or juice to clear the taste.

I bought this for $44.00 and some change, then I look around the web and find it for half as much even though it is the same brand. I then come back here to amazon and find another retailer selling it for under $25.00. It was the exact same product and size. I am very unhappy with this. The cheaper item wasn't in stock when I ordered. Obviously I will be more aware next time, and I believe amazon should have a better policy than this. Consider this a customer complaint. 1 star

I was buying UCB Pharma's Nootropil from Europe for years before it became legal to buy from within the US in 2006. I was paying around $25 for 48g, & now I'm getting 700g for the same price. If there is a difference in quality between this and what I was taking before, it is imperceptible. Four stars for improving my life, minus one for tasteless packaging. 4 stars
