My mat is 1/4 inch thick, so I have to roll it very tight in order to be able to fasten the clasps, so you can figure that a thinner mat will go in quite easily. 5 stars The following review received 1 helpful votes out of 1 total votes: Review Date: 2007-11-08 "Disappointed" I bought the 84" yoga mat from the same vendor, but the "adjustable" strap didn't fit it. It fits my yoga mat which is longer and thicker than normal (72" x 24" x 1/4"). Yoga mats are usually just 68 inches long and 1/8 inch thick.
