"Really? At this price point?"

This watch is absolutely incredible for this price point. Unbelievable.

The band is thick, sturdy and heavy, yet well polished and smooth. It has a foldover clasp with safety catch; not my favorite style, but it works well, and is typical at this price point. The band doesn't pull hair from my arm like some other bands do. It came mounted on the case so the clasp operated reverse of my preferred direction; I was able to turn the band around in about five minutes. Call me picky, I don't think this would be an issue for most, and maybe I got an odd one.

The removable links on the band aren't too difficult to get out and in if you hold a 1/32nd drill bit in a pair of small vise grips and push out the pins with the back of the bit. Once the desired links are removed, push the pins back in with a piece of plastic and they'll reseat with a secure and satisfying click.

The sapphire crystal is a great feature for this money, as is the sturdy, two color coin edge unidirectional diver's bezel. Although the bezel is done in paint and neither embossed or engraved, I can't find any flaws in the numerals or marks, even on close inspection.

The watch face beneath the crystal is spotless and dust free, with no visible flaws. The movement alignment inside the case is perfect; the second hand aligns with each minute mark on every tick.

What the photographs don't show you is that each major item on the face is raised slightly proud of the face surface, and given a shiny metallic border. This includes all of the glow in the dark Tritnite elements. The Invicta name and logo itself are raised slightly from the surface, too, and done in gold metallic. This gives the appearance of a much, much more expensive watch. Even the red "10" in the center of the dial is raised and metallic. The watch face itself is pure class, in my opinion.

Although it is very masculine, heavy and chunky, the overall scale of the watch is slightly smaller than some other similar watches that sell for much more. This is NOT a hockey puck on your sleeve, although it is thick. Most people who aren't used to wearing big, heavy automatics, or dive watches in general will probably appreciate that slight reduction in size. I prefer the slightly smaller size for everyday wear.

It's been in the shower twice now, and under water in the sink a few times already. That's as far as I've tested the 100m water resistance so far.

This is an awesome watch, especially when you consider the projected 10 year battery life, and the low price point.

I will DEFINITELY be buying more Invicta watches, and I'm completely comfortable getting them from Amazon. 5 stars

"Handsome watch with high reliability rating"

My new Invita Sub-Diver arrived at work and it immediately created a great deal of comments from admirers. For the price, you just can't beat the features this watch has. It looks every bit as cool as some watches well beyond the $300+ price range. While it is substantial in size, it doesn't weigh a ton. I am lucky enough to have a co-worker with a watch repair kit. He easily removed several links to compensate for my relatively small wrist and the watch sits perfectly. Invicta produces some beautiful timepieces! 5 stars

"OK, but qustionable build quality"

I really like the style and quality of Invicta watches, especially the diver style ones. I own two Invicta watches, this one and a 4607. I enjoy snorkelling and swimming with my watches, and especially with those that claim 100m.water resistance or more.

I took it along with me on my most recent trip down south to Cuba. Eager to discover the local reefs I promptly put on my sub diver watch, grabbed my fins, mask and snorkel and headed for the beach. While snorkelling I occasionally glance at my watch to check the time, and to my horror I discover the bezel has fallen off! Keeping in mind this is a 3 month old watch I can't believe it, but yes the sub-divers bezel is now part of the Cuban reef in Santa Maria...it would appear that the bezel was simply glued on and warm sea water was enough to dislodge the bezel from its mount.

The watch is now back with Invicta for warranty repairs...sigh. Let's hope it doesn't take too long for a new bezel. I'm not sure I'll be wearing it again in the water for obvious reasons.

"Invicta Sport Por Diver 3287"

I own 14 different watches. From the Submariner to a $40.00 Casio I use when I am out on the tractor working. I have quit wearing all of the others because this one takes the place of all the rest. Sapphire crystal is unscratchable. It feels smooth around my wrist unlike the Submarnier's braclet that has never felt this comfortable. Rolex should get one of these and learn how to make a bracelet. One battery every ten years, and water resistant. This is a great looking and working watch.
Thank you Invicta.
