I absolutely love these shoes. I have a very high arch and I am a hard heel-striker. Needless to say that finding a comfortable shoe for my difficult feet has been a real chore. These shoes have plenty of cushion in the heel and yet also support my arches. However, I did put an extra arch support insert in (did I mention I have really high arches?) but didn't get the usual "crowding" effect which was wonderful. I've bought lots of shoes that were supposed to be right for my type of foot but after running in them had to eventually give them away. These shoes were honestly perfect right out of the box, I've been walking/jogging/running in these babies for over a month now with no problems whatsoever. I plan on buying several pairs of these before somebody decides to "improve" them and changes something. Boy do I hate it when I finally find a shoe I like and then the company decides to 'improve it' and screw up a really great shoe (bitter much? gee not me)
I also received the shoes in less than a week and that is a miracle where I live. Good service all around. Hope this helps someone else. 5 stars

I recently purchased the "Saucony Women's Progrid Triumph 4". I am very pleased with my purchase. I am not an avid runner, but I do run a few times a week and find this shoe to have the support and cushion that I like in a running shoe. The only thing I would say about buying this shoe is you may want to go a 1/2 a size up from what you normally wear. 4 stars

I bought this shoe, finally, because it came down in price enough for me to afford, especially for the first time purchasing a shoe without trying it on first. It had superb reviews as well--someone even saying they wished they'd bought two pairs the way you always wish once you've found something that's just right, and how new things always change. I feel the same. BUT though this shoe is wonderful, the arch is a little too far back and thus it gives discomfort when I walk. I want to go to a podiatrist and get something fitted into the shoe which will compensate for this and bring the arch forward, OR look for something in the drug store to shift the arch support forward. One more thing: it is very airy with layers of mesh (no solid cloth) on the front sides, which will be great in hot weather; but in the rain and snow of Chicago winter, sometimes your foot gets mighty wet suddenly with a splash. It dries fast, too, though. Otherwise this is a wonderful shoe. 4 stars

I love these shoes...so comfortable right out of the box! My only complaint was that there is not enough arch support. I added a cheapy drugstore arch support in and now they're perfect. I would definitely recommend going a 1/2 size up though. 4 stars

This is my second pair of these shoes, and they're just as fantastic as the first. You'll be ready to take them out for a run the very first time you try them on. I highly recommend them for anyone who likes a comfortable shoe! 5 stars
