"new balance"

they run small and not enough cushion on the sole. you might want to go a half size up when you order 2 stars

"Worst New Balance Shoes Ever -- Cheap!!"

This is the worst pair of NBs I've ever owned, and I've owned dozens and liked virtually all of them. They are very flimsily made, and the bottom tabs that wrap up to the sidewall of the shoe tear off and take the bottom sole with them. I've had 4 of these tabs rip off so far, and 3 of them were in the first 3 days of ownership.

These shoes are abysmal.. do not buy them! 1 star

"Good cross country shoe"

On the advice from a friend I ordered one size larger and was pleasantly surprised that the fit was decent though a little wide, length spot on.
A very light weight shoe good for kick around and serious jogging. 4 stars

"Great Shoes!!!"

The New Balance MR790's are awesome shoes. I've had a pair for about a year now and so has my friend, and we both love them. Right now the soles are fairly worn down and they're starting to separate themselves from the rest of the shoes, but it's been a year so what do you expect? I'm looking to buy another 790 pair this week.
They are SUPER lightweight, I love them. Yea, there's not a whole lot of cushioning, but super lightweight shoes aren't packed with cushioning... duh. If you're gonna be a pansy about it then just buy Dr. Scholls inserts or something.
I use these shoes for freerunning and parkour, so you know they take abuse. What makes them a good parkour shoe is that they have pretty decent grip as well, and since the soles are not that thick, I can feel everything a lot better. If they're good enough to do backflips in, they're good enough to run a trail in :)
Alright so in conclusion, they're lightweight with good traction and a thin sole. Buy them, you won't be dissapointed. 5 stars

"BLACK SOLE FALLS OFF!"

As the other reviewer mentioned, the soles come off. traction is gone within the first few days.

Its ashame because they are feather light and really comfy.

I contact New Balance and I am hoping they will help me with this problem. I may return these for another brand.... 1 star
