My favourite caps are Nikko mesh, but they are not available in the US it seems, so I tried this lycra cap. It is very good. If you have a lot of hair, the S/M may be too small (I have not tried the larger size) but for girls with short hair and boys with medium or smaller heads, it will be OK. Stays in place, is very light, and makes you feel faster. No heat retention, so this is not as good as the rubber caps for cold water. Remember to rinse in non-chlorinated water after each use to extend life of the fabric. 5 stars

The cap looks cool, it is well done and feels solid.
However, I have few concerns:
1. Size S/M is big on me and it looks just a little bulky. I have to make my google tight to keep the cap from covering my eyes.
2. Latex/Lycra composition is good. You can easily put the cap on without pulling your hair like you do with latex caps. On the other hand, it is not as tight as a regular silicone cap and your hair will most probably get a little wet.

I don't care much about having my hair wet so I enjoy this cap. Some people (especially ladies) may prefer to wear lycra cap with silicone one on top for the best results. 4 stars

Bad delivery timeline. Terrilbe inventory control system and internal communication. Does not care about customers' preference. Can run out of stock even when the web site says that they have in stock. When that happpens, Swim2000 can substitute your item for something else and ship right to you without asking you for your prference. Terrible customer support, especially from this person named Bruno Diederichs. They expect you to pay for their mistakes. 1 star

We loved this swim cap for a variety of reasons:
1. It kept the hair neatly tucked under with no movement.
2. It was very easy to put on and take off.
3. It didn't pull the skin or hair, nor did it slip off.
4. Didn't cause a headache from squeezing too tightly, no marks from the elastic.
I used these caps over the summer on my girls and their friends. The only thing about it that some might not like, although not a problem for us, is that it allows your hair to become wet because the material breathes. No bubble head with this one! I think this lycra cap is excellent for children and recreational swimmers, however for racing it is not made of a water repelling material (rubber/silicone). Because of the large selection of colors we were able to match it to our swimsuits helping to easily identify which child was where, while our kids were swimming in the pool.
I did have to replace it after extensive use (4-5 days a week) as eventually the material became thin, and the elastic lax however, it still hung on until we received our new one from AMAZON.com 5 stars

My son loves it. It is easy for him to put it on and keeps hair dry. 4 stars
