Unlike sandals, they fit my foot well enough to allow me to be active but like sandals, they are open and well ventilated to keep my feet cool in the summer. All around a good shoe for the price. They are by far the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. Keens come close but are still second. I live in the mountains and am regretting fall and winter coming on and having to move on to shoes. I have two small regrets: 1. Teva does not make half sizes, the one size up is a little large, the size down is just a little small. 2. On mountain trails rocks get in the shoes very easily and are nearly impossible to get out. I love the protectiveness of the closed toe and partially closed heel. The brown color is really cool and teh velcro is great for quick slip on convenience and adjustability. I really like it a lot, i purchased the black and yellow no problems excellent product. 5 stars | |
