"Nice grip but wear is terrible. "

First off, I'm an amature goalie at best. I've been playing in a req league for a couple of years now. I've went through at least 5 or 6 pair of gloves so far. I decided this season I'd buy some slightly more expensive gloves to try out.

The grip on these gloves is excellent. In wet conditions they're good, but not nearly as good as dry.

They're also fairly comfortable. I don't like the plastic/vinyl stuff between the back of your hand and the wrist, but that's not a problem if you bring a towel with you (in summer heat, I tried wiping my face on the back of these and they almost stuck to my face).

The problem is the wear. It took two games before the finger tips really started to rub off. They were still good for another couple of games, but then the they finally started to wear too badly to play with (and the palm ripped between the thumb and fore finger). They're still good for practice, but I wouldn't trust them on a hard shot in a real game any more.

So if you go through gloves every 4 to 5 games, or don't play too hard, these are good buy. If you want a longer lasting glove stay away from the FS series (at least the cheap ones). 4 stars
