Easy to use over shoes. I bought these for my mom after she fell one winter from the ice. Side motion caused the product to come off at least twice. Traction was good on the ice. These ice-stabilizers are a must for the winter season, at least for me. I can walk the dog for hours in the woods over snow and ice, get the mail down an icy driveway, and generally move about without any fear of falling. They fit over my largest boots and smaller sneakers. The one time I wasn't wearing them and the cat got out and I chased her, I fell right on my tailbone!
