The Heely's are great fitting shoes, very comfortable. I was expecting the heel to be hard to support the wheel, and that is true. But it's well padded by the insole so it's a comfortable walking shoe. They remind me of wearing a great fitting pair hiking boots but look a LOT better! They are heavy so don't plan on wearing them for long walks unless you plan to put the wheels in during your outing. Even if I don't master the art of Heelying I'll have a pair of very good shoes.

As far as learning how to Heely that depends on how quick you learn to do this kind of thing. Give yourself some time though there are some muscles on the front of your leg that you probably don't know are there. If you overdue it you'll get to know those muscles. :-) Learning this is more than just balance but gaining some leg strength too. A tip, practice your balance on a carpet it slows or may even stop the wheels, which really helps.

I weigh 225 pounds and was worried the stock wheel bearings wouldn't handle my weight. Not a problem they roll just fine. So far I haven't done any tests of the theory that the bigger they are the harder they fall. :-) (I'm 6'4")

It's a blast hearing kids go into shock that a grown up is on Heely's. Now I need to get to where I can Heely like the kids do. Second childhood, huh, who me??? :-) 5 stars

My son and I both received Heely's for Christmas and by far they are our favorite gifts. Nothing makes a trip to the grocery store go by quicker than flying down the aisles on our back wheels... 5 stars

Why do kid have all the fun things? I'm so glad I could find a pair of Heelys that fit adult feet. It's kinda of fun to Heely around with my kids and even funnier to watch other adults react and then ask where they can find a pair. Great pair of shoes which should last a long time. 5 stars
