Friends of ours with older kids that are very active outdoors gave us their kids' old skis and Ski Starters. So far so good with our 4 1/2 year old! Dad likes it b/c he can pull him on the sidewalk and up the hill. He also holds onto him from behind when he's going down the driveway or down a small hill in our back yard. Easy to use and understand as we had no instructions....it was obvious....just put the harness on or the belt and snap on the strap. We didn't get the Toe-Hold with ours....so can't give any feedback. 4 stars

The ski harness worked great. It helped us control the kids their first couple of times down the bunny hill. After that, they were off to the races on their own. 4 stars
