I just used the sporttube for the first time last week flying to Utah. It contained and protected my skis totally. I never worried about them for a minute. I highly recomment the sporttube to all skiers who travel with their skis. 5 stars

You can't get much in this container besides skis and poles (perhaps socks, gloves, hats, and other small clothing items), but it does protect your equipment well. Also, it's too bulky to fit through the pass-through opening present in some rear seats. You'll have to either take your skis/poles out of the container to fit through the pass-through (and then re-package them in the carrier when you get to the airport) or fold down the rear seat to accommodate the carrier. So, if you don't have a split fold-down rear seat in your vehicle and have more than 3-4 people in your car it will be difficult to get this carrier in your vehicle. 4 stars

The SporTube does what it claims. Clamps your skis and poles inside quite nicely. Long handle lets you find perfect balance spot when carried. Rolls well if not a little long as it trails behind you! How else can you keep the Airlines from wrecking your precious ski stuff and banging up your edges? The length adjust lock clip a little hard to install and it should be permanently tied to the Tube so it doesn't 'vanish'. Otherwise, it's great. 4 stars
