"Great Brush for Those Into Sigg Bottles"

*****
I have many Sigg bottles, and so found this investment into a special brush to clean them worthwhile. This brush can get into any nook or cranny of any Sigg bottle.

However, there are many ways to clean Sigg bottles. You can use Sigg tablets (like those you clean dentures with), or you can use bleach, or you can use boiling water and a small scrubber. For the best and most thorough cleaning, however, I would use this brush, too, even if you use the tablets or bleach, and no brush is better than one specifically created for Sigg bottles.

If you have more than one Sigg bottle, definitely get this brush, as it makes things very easy, and works perfectly. Sigg bottles are guaranteed to last for a lifetime, and having a useful brush to clean them with is just a part of the whole package.

Highly recommended.

"Great for ALL bottles, but don't get ripped off."

First off, this is a great bottle brush. Period. I don't even own a Sigg, preferring insulated water bottles. But I saw this brush when researching water bottles and it looked like something I have been looking for for a long time. The problem with most bottle brushes is that 1) the brush is too wide or 2)the bristles at the end are too sparse or soft or 3) the metal or plastic material to which the bristles are attached extends so far down to the end of the brush that when you exert pressure while attempting to clean you are merely scraping the bottom of the bottle with the hard plastic or metal to which the bristles are attached. Bottle brushes are generally poorly designed. This Sigg brush, however, has nice firm bristles, is not too wide so it will fit most (though not all) bottles, and is thoughtfully designed so that the foundation holding the bristles does not interfere with the cleaning.

Second, and this is the reason I'm writing the review ... is that the prices some people are asking for this brush right now (nearly $40) is nothing short of highway robbery. All Sigg products, including this brush, are in short supply now due to the recent health concerns over plastics. So some feel they can get away charging 3 or 4 times the normal retail price. This is unethical, in my opinion. I bought mine online only a week ago and paid just $9.99 + 5.95 shipping and handling from Kittery Trading. $9.99 is the NORMAL retail price on this. Kittery Trading, which is great and shipped super fast, is now sold out on this, but if you do a google search (keywords: sigg brush), you can still find someone selling it for retail or close to it. I just did & found someone selling it for the normal retail price by page 3 of the results. So do your homework, folks. Don't get ripped off! 5 stars

"Essential if you own Sigg bottles"

This brush works perfectly on a Sigg bottle. There is no other way to thoroughly clean inside the bottle. The cleaning tablets probably work very well, but that can get expensive over time. This tool gets into every nook and cranny and really scrubs well. All the other bottle brushes I found in stores were too wide to get inside a Sigg bottle. For me, this was well worth the investment. 5 stars

"not all that good"

I'm pretty disappointed in this brush. It feels very cheaply made and there are not as many bristles on it as it might seem. Mostly the brush area seems too small to be that effective.

IMO don't bother buying this. Buy the bottles, but find a better brush.

Also I dislike the curved handle. I bought this to replace a cleaning brush that is like an oversized pipe cleaning brush that was breaking, but now wish I hadn't. One thing I like about a straight handled brush is that you roll the handle between your palms very rapidly to clean the bottle, but with this you can't really.

"siggs brush alternative"

While this brush is absolutely needed to clean the siggs bottles with its narrow opening...and it does a good job, i felt it was pricey for what it is and can easily be substituted by getting one of those narrow baby bottle brushes. 5 stars
