"sturdy & solid"

I was worried that I would get some floppy piece of plastic, not the case with this nose guard. as comfortable as you could hope,It just took a little while to get it adjusted properly for a clear line of vision 5 stars

"It offers protection, but..."

I broke my nose and bought this product to wear post surgery playing ultimate frisbee. This product offers protection, yes, but the clear plastic piece over the nose messes with depth perception and the foam pads that rest on your cheeks make it hard to see anything below your chin. I wish I could have gotten one more like the ones they have in the NBA. 2 stars

"facemask"

delivered quickly, worked fine. My son did get hit in face twice, nose bled one of the times. Did not rebreak, so a good deal. 4 stars

"Not for soccer"

I suppose there are some sports for which this nose guard would work well, but I'm at a loss to name any of them. My son, who actually wore it, should probably write the review.

Evidently soccer is not one of them. He found that his vision was severely impaired especially in bright light. Mind you, he is glad that we purchased it because he would not have played at all if he did not protect himself.

On the other hand with four children I have paid bills for a torn ACL, two broken legs, a broken wrist and several trips to the orthopedist for sore knees. Impaired vision on the field is an invitation for another visit.

Best to skip this purchase. Wait four weeks and play without impairment, instead.
