"use common sense"

despite what you've seen in the movies, swords were never meant to cut trees. even a good axe will dull after hitting a green tree.

this is obviously for display purposes. if you entertain fantasies of actually cutting people with swords, then you're probably crazy enough to spend the thousands for a real, quality weapon. this item is basically a shape, stamped out of 1/8th inch thick steel. it is very light; too light to cause any real harm. in an actual combat situation, you'd be better off with your bare fists, or even a swiss-army knife.

however, if you're into collection for display, this is a nice cheapie that'll impress the casual onlooker. 3 stars

"Picture is Inaccurate!"

It's a nice sword and seems very durable. It has a fine sharpened edge however mine doesn't have the "teeth" on the leading edge of the blade as shown in the picture. Only dull teeth on the trailing edge.

I am happy with this purchase. I'm only pointing out that it differs slightly from the image shown. 3 stars

"Awesome"

I just bought two of these and they arrived in the mail just yesterday. This sword is extremely well made (especially for this price!). I would be willing to pay even twice the price for a sword this quality. The grip in the picture looks flat and uncomfortable, but it is actually about 7/8" wide. The blade came dull, but the tip and serated edge are extremely sharp. It's very light (these aren't the first swords to my collection), weighing in at just a few ounces. The black on the sword is about the same color of the grip in the picture, if not darker. You can't see in the photo, but the sheath has a strap on the back so that it can be attached on to your back. By the way, does anyone know what the heck "Clurmshot" means? 5 stars

"Not bad"

The delivery was fast. The sword's point is definitely good. The rest of the sword could use some sharpening. The sheath is very fragile. 4 stars
