I've gone through dozens of cheapo mouthguards and don't have the money to get a custom made mouthguard, so I finally decided to pick up a shock doctor and I have to say I'm very pleased with the product. The guard has this blue gel which when boiled becomes very soft and molds to your teeth during the forming process for an extra tight fitting. This one is good, but for fit and protection I prefer the cheaper (yet better) version called "Shock Doctor Gel Max Mouth Guard" 4 stars Review Date: 2008-10-23 "14 year old actually wears it" 14 year old son has worn in all 6 games since he recieved the gaurd. It is not uncomfortable to wear. It was easy to fit and is a good value. I would buy again and I recommend that all players wear a gaurd. 4 stars | |
