"sadman"

i used this camera for about 3 weeks and the thin plastic webstrap bracket on the unit broke. the camera does not mount to a tree properly without that webstrap bracket. i got a return authorization from moultrie to repair the poor design. later, they changed their mind and said the damage was not covered under warranty. because of the poor webstrap bracket design and not being able to mount the unit to a tree with the webstrap they provide, i threw the camera in the trash can. i learned a $200+ lesson. 1 star

"great camera once you figure out the software"

Camera comes with 2 levels of software installed but has to be updated just to use....we already had taken pictures as there was nothing in the instructions that told you do download first. the website wasn't easy to use and I could never get thru to tech support on the phone....BUT, once I got the software downloaded/upgraded, it's great....nice pictures, you can edit/delete while viewing the slide show.... 4 stars

"Great addition"

While this is the only trail camera I've purchased, it works great in the 3 months that I've owned mine. There are minor issues such as the difficulty in removing the SD card, but overall the quality of the photos is very good. There is one other issue I've heard people complain about, and that is the occasional "white" photo that you get. I still can't figure out why this happens, but it only occurs about once every 25 photos. Finally, the infra-red flash is worth the extra money in my opinion and the time/date stamp feature works great and keeps time just fine. But again, this is the first trail camera I'm owned and thus, I don't have anything to compare the Moultrie I-40 to. 4 stars

"Great camera"

I love this camera, it works great. I only gave it 4 stars because the mounting strap broke off when I was tightening it. The brackets that hold the strap is very weak. That is the only thing I don't like about it! 4 stars

"Photos taken by I40"

The camera takes real good pictures but has to be high off the ground or it will get IF flashbacks at the bottom of night photos. 4 stars
