The snap on the Leapers "Elite" Drop Leg Holster (the term Elite must be used loosely) would never stay attached. It would always either unsnap or come loose at the back. Eventually it fell off in the field and I lost it. The straps would never stay securely in the place I positioned them.

The Leapers Deluxe Drop Leg Holster is much more effective. Even w/ one strap it stays secure becuase of the wide band of material in place. The method for latching the gun in the holster is much more effective as well. Spend a few more dollars for the Deluxe holster rather than trying to work with the Elite. 2 stars

legs its a little too small for me but its sturdy sometimes it slides over my knee and its hard to run but i still always use it 4 stars

This is a good holster for the price. But, to fit well, personal height must be considered. I would say it's for someone 5'8 or taller. If you're short like me this holster will not stay on your thigh. It fits most medium guns.

This holster hangs from your belt, with two straps that buckle around your thigh to keep it in place. In hindsight, I should've purchased a belt holster that is at hip level. Anyhow, this holster, once adjusted, does a remarkably good job of staying in position while running, and I have never had a gun or magazine fall out while running. I can even fit my M92 gas blowback pistol with laser sight in this holster, and it still fits. 4 stars

I have been looking at holsters for a while, not buying because I didn't want to spend a lot on something that might not fit my guns. I bought this because it is inexpensive, and looked like it was about the right size. It fits my Ruger P97, MKIII, and Blackhawk (5.5" barrel) perfectly. That's pretty impressive, given their extreme differences in shape.

Unfortunately there are a couple of annoyances I noticed immediately. First, the clasp for holding the gun in place is large and unwieldy. It hinders removing the gun. Second, the leg straps are not for large people.

The larger leg strap allows about 24" diameter: just enough for me. The smaller one is a little tight.

All in all, this is a good holster that will provide a comfortable fit to most users. 4 stars
