I received one of these a few years back as a gift thinking what would I do with this. Well, five years later, it has a permanent place in our utility room for drying shoes fresh from the washer (I have two young ones) - great for work boots, wet shoes from outside, etc. Never gets too hot, never makes noise, drys everything from the little gap canvas shoes to the Polaris Snowmobile boots, overnight or less...I have bought one for most of the family in the snow area too.... 5 stars The following review received 15 helpful votes out of 15 total votes: Review Date: 2005-04-04 "Simply Awesome!" I received a Peet Shoe Dryer from a friend a few months ago. When I first received it I must admit I did not know what to do with it... Well, this past Friday night, as an April Fool's joke, I was pushed into the pool... with my shoes on! Seeing this as a great first opportunity to try the Shoe Dryer - I did. The dryer did a phenomenal job drying my leather shoes. I was worried about potential damage to the shoes and the noise the drier would create; but neither was an issue. It makes no noise whatsover, mine is next to the bed. I hose and brush the mud off my boots when I get home (mud draws the oils out of leather)put em on the dryer. Dry, warm boots by morning! Just dont forget your boots on it! I oil my boots 1x a wk or so. 5 stars The following review received 3 helpful votes out of 3 total votes: Review Date: 2007-08-12 "Shoe Dryer" When I recieved this product it was not exactly what I thought it should be. I thought it would more of a fan type system, but it is a small heating element. My reason for purchase is I have to wear rubber irrigation boots all day and athletes foot is a huge problem, since I started using the dryer I have had no problems. I put my boots on the dryer when I come home from work and take them off the next morning and then sprinkle in some plain baby powder and off to work I go with no AF. Dryer is easy to use and works great. 5 stars The following review received 2 helpful votes out of 2 total votes: Review Date: 2006-02-23 "Works as advertised" The product works great. My kids' shoes get soaked when they play outside. We put them on the shoe dryer and they're good to go by the morning. 5 stars | |
