This thing is awesome - and must be one section longer than most of the competitors. I've picked up more than 300 balls since buying this - and love it! Don't know how it could be better, I've already sent some of the balls I've rescued to friends - and get to keep the ProV1's for my own play! Two thumbs up. 5 stars

This ball retriever is a very good value for the money. It's well constructed, and easy to open and close. It fits nicely in my golf bag, isn't too heavy, and the brightly colored head is easily visible in deep water.

I purchased this in November and have already maximized my investment by securing a few water balls. Does the job. 5 stars

I had four of these retreivers sent to me. The first and fourth retrievers arrived with the orange ring broken off. The second retriever never reached me - lost in the mail? The second and fouth retrievers didn't work because the ring was the wrong size and wouldn't pick up a golf ball. Although the retievers looked like they would be great, I finally had to give up and get a different one. 1 star

Upon receipt of the golf ball retriever it was necessary to modify the
ball ring to allow a golf ball to fit far enough into it to allow pick up.
That was not too difficult. Each section (5 in this instance) is
designed to twist lock into place. Most of the lock stops failed within
the first month. I removed the ring from the Amazon retriever and
installed it on an 18 Ft retriever purchased for $10.00 at a military
base. The ball ring and all 5 locking sections of the $10.00 retriever
have functioned flawlessly.
