The scale is really acurate. It seems sturdy on both ends but in the middle the plastic seems like regular plastic not much of a heavy duty body if you ask me. It does what it needs to do and the Metric vs English measurments is cool to have. The buttons are easy to use no fancy schmasy going on here. 3 stars
