The tube is beefy and the handles are sturdy. The included exercise booklets are lame. This is the only band that hasn't broken on us within a couple of uses. The exercise charts are not very useful, but for those who need an easy alternative to storing lots of weights when traveling or stuck at home and know how to use the bands, they are great. 5 stars The following review received 4 helpful votes out of 4 total votes: Review Date: 2007-12-13 "SPRI band review" I started with the red bands and now use the blue for some exercises. I hava a frozen shoulder and had to find an alternative way to exercise since freeweights put too much of a load on my shoulder. I have gained more movement and the workout is better than PT. You can progress pretty quickly to the next color band for some exercises (bicep, chest and back). Sturdy and effective. The instructions and exercises provided were helpful and can supplement with ideas on the internet. Band seems like it will last a long time and will consider buying more with different resistances. 4 stars | |
