"Great piece of equipment, Great price"

First off, coming from someone who has lifted in gyms his whole life, this piece of equipment fits right in with the expensive pieces a gym would have. Its sturdy and strong...and that is pretty much all this piece of equipment needs to be. The only small things wrong with this piece that seperate it from being a 5 star review are the following:

1) As stated in other reviews, the push up handles are located to close to the lower cross beam support preventing you from a comfortable push-up. Not a big deal unless this isa big reason you are buying this piece.

2) Plastic foam like material covering pull up bar is too soft and cheap. It should of been covered with a harder more durable material. I've only owned this piece for a week but with constant use I suspect this soft material will eventually wear thin and rip. Not positive about this but pretty sure.

3) When putting together...1)Pay close attention to the diagram..certain pieces go on certain sides and the directions don't explain...but the diagrams show. 2) Had to go out and purchase two of the hexagon screws after a certain spot seemed to continously strip them if tightened to hard.

Overall this piece is definately worth buying. The exercises you can perform on it are hard to duplicate outside a gym unless you own this.

"good customer service"

The product came promptly. The box disintegrated as soon as the product arrived but all the parts were present. The instructions were not great but the product was pretty easy to assemble.

One on the pads was slightly torn. When I contacted Amazon, they told me that they would pay for me to ship the product back to them for a refund but that the product was no longer available through them so I could not get a replacement for the padding.

The manufactor's phone number is print in large script on the box so I called them about the torn pad as the rest of the product is fine. They shipped out a new pad and a spare, no problem.

I especially like that the arm supports for leg lifts are not that wide apart. It would not work for someone who is very wide (obese) but works well for me. The pull up bar is also very high and would work well for someone pretty tall. The whole thing seems fairly stable but I am less than 150 pound so I can't say for someone heavier. 5 stars

"Solid Piece of Equipment"

I had high expectations for this equipment considering the great reviews I had read. Good news is that it is everything everyone has stated: gym quality, sturdy and easy to set up. It came with all required parts (which seems to be a lot to ask these days) which were clearly marked. I agree with other reviewers that you really need to review the instructions carefully as to avoid putting a part on upside down or on the wrong side. The visuals included in the instructions are key to proper assembly. Be sure to wait to tighten everyhting down until you have it completely assembled. There are some areas that I feel are in need of improvement that result in the 4 versus 5 star rating: (1) push-up bars cannot be used unless you can dislocate your shoulders during push-ups (I can't!), (2) although a sturdy piece of equipment, I found that there was a certain amount of rocking when doing pull ups. The equipment did not feel unstable at all, but the front legs did lift very slightly when performing the exercise. An easy fix for the manufacturer would be to slightly extend the back legs to provide more support. I ended up stacking a couple weights on the front bar which easily remedied the problem. Let me be clear, however, that I was never concerned about the equipment falling backwards; I just wanted no movement of the equipment at all during the exercise. 4 stars

"Sick!"

This Tower is really good, its kinda flimsy when doing Dips, but everything else is nice...I love doing pull ups. Its one of the hardest and most beneficial things you can do when lifting your own body weight, and you can do it on this tower. I am 5'6, and weight around 158lbs, and am really competitive with weight training and physical health. I recommend it! 5 stars
