Amazon.com ReviewsAverage Rating: 4.0 out of 5 Stars Review Date: 2007-05-14 "very good value" took a couple of weeks to arive, but the saving was worth the wait 4 stars Review Date: 2008-01-10 "A Workout Classic. " I've always loved Champion shirts and currently have three of the millenniums and three of the new Double Dry ones in my closet. I exclusively use them for exercising. The millenniums are fairly basic but of the highest quality. The ones I have now are new, but, in the past, I have had Champion shirts last for six or seven years apiece. The thickness is something that appeals to me and is undoubtedly a reason why they hold up so well. 5 stars Review Date: 2008-04-14 "Not the real Millenium T" I just opened my order, shipped from Amazon's own warehouse. Oxford grey and Navy blue XL. Both OneHanesPlace and ChampionCatalog have stopped advertising 'Millenium'. Now it's just plain 'Cotton Jersey'. That's how my shirts from Amazon were tagged. And they're lighter weight than the original 6.3oz cotton, and the cotton is not as soft to the hand as the original Millenium. Bottom line: Amazon is shipping the same product as Hanes, and it's not Millenium, and not the original quality. If anyone knows where New Old Stock Millenium's can be found, please post it. It's not here. That said, these are decent shirts, and I'm giving 'em 4 stars. 4 stars Review Date: 2008-06-28 "Agree with F. Horne" I agree with F. Horne. The original Millenium's had the word "Champion" written on the shirt and not just the letter "C". | |
