It's not a comfortable fit with the weight of my texts no matter where the straps are adjusted. I admit it looks really cute and you can't beat the price, but if i were to see that bag in a store where i could touch it and feel the material, i would not have purchased it - even despite how inexpensive it was. 2 stars The following review received 12 helpful votes out of 13 total votes: Review Date: 2005-05-25 "The lightest weight bag!" After trying many different daypacks, this one is definitely the best one if weight is a problem. Many backpacks have so much padding that the bag is already somewhat heavy before you even put your books and other things in them. I've given away countless bags due to the weight issue, until I found this basic JanSport. Another added bonus: the bag comes in great colors and is reasonably priced you can buy more than one. Great for us girls that look a little color. My only complaint is that my hot pink bag was missing one of the fabric pull tabs. 5 stars The following review received 12 helpful votes out of 12 total votes: Review Date: 2006-09-30 "Excellent Light Bag, but thin fabric" I love this bag because it is light and roomy. However after laying it on the concrete a few times, it has 2 small holes at the bottom because the bag is so thin. I got my money's worth, but will look for something with a leather bottom if you lay your bag on the ground at all. 4 stars The following review received 11 helpful votes out of 13 total votes: Review Date: 2007-02-13 "School Backpacks/ friend or foe?" This was a beautiful back pack, just as described and seems well made. Are kid's school bags ever sturdy enough. Sadly, no. This is the 3rd we have been through this year. We can only hope it lasts the rest of the school year. Can somebody come out with a super strong and lasting bag? Mine from back in the old days lasted 2 years or more. It's a thought. 4 stars | |
