For somebody just learning to shoot (like me), it's great to not have all kinds of complicated gizmos to figure out. The draw length and weight for this bow are good for teens or shorter/smaller adults (i'm 5'6"), for taller/larger adults you might want to get a bow with a heavier draw or longer span. I think the quality of construction is good. 5 stars
