It is 8" wide, 6 1/4" high and 6 1/4" deep. The two small round hanger targets are the size of a dime. The two large round targets are a little bigger than a quarter. The center square target is 1 1/8" x 1 1/8". The trap area that you are shooting into is 2 3/4" high x 8 wide".
I use my pump up Crosman .22 on this trap, I wouldn't use one of my high power air guns, and it's great indoor fun. I have set up a 30' range inside the house and with iron sights this is a real challenge. There are a few ricochets, nothing that would cause damage to anything. Most of these are just pellets that bounce out of the trap.
I would have given it 5 star had it been bigger and the pellets didn't bouncing out. I did get one of these for my nephew who is 12 and has a Benjamin and Sheridan .22 pump. I am not worried about him using it at a safe distance of 25' or more. I don't see any way possible he could get injured from a ricochet.
If you are tired of shooting at paper targets with your air rifle then you need to get one of these.
Some final stats. The trap is rated for Lead Pellets only, no BB's, at a minimum distance of 15'. I think it is rated for airguns up to 750 fps. Do not hold me responsible for these exact numbers, I am not the manufacturer. Just someone who enjoys shooting and wants to let other do the same. 4 stars |
