No, this gun isn't very powerful - but THAT'S THE POINT. This gun is perfect for a young kid to learn about guns. I have had mine for about 5 months, and have used it about 5 or 6 times a day to keep squirrels out of my birdfeeders. Its not powerful, or even that long range, but its a decent gun with a reall high amount of accuracy. I have hit squirrels in the head from about 20 feet (while they are running).
