"Be Very Careful"

Be very careful of Thule Fit Kits. At least one of them does not fit. I bought the 2171 fit kit for my 2006 Honda Civic. It does NOT fit! Thule will not stand behind their products and let me return the kit. I have another Honda and the kit for that one fits great. So, try and find a review of the specific kit you want to buy before you buy it. Do NOT buy the 2171 kit expecting it to fit a 2006 Honda Civic. IT DOES NOT FIT. 1 star

"Good job"

Great product. Thule is not cheap but you will have a product that will last for years and the racks are more solid than anything else I have used. I could literally pull the car over on its side with the roof rack. I have used my current rack for well over ten years and just replaced the bars and will expect another ten. To transfer it to another car only requires buying the foot package and presto, it is on another car. And the kayak rack I just purchased is perfect also. 5 stars

"The kit that fits"

I ordered the thule fit kit for my 2000 Honda Odyssey and it fit perfectly - Thule Fit Kit for 400XT and Rapid Aero Foot (2072) . The turn around time on the order was very quick. 5 stars

"Thule 1271 Fit kit works perfectly for my 2008 Civic"

I was a little reluctant with this purchase after reading one of the reviews saying it did not fit. The trick to installing these easily is to put the end supports on the load bars first and adjust the width. If you do that first and follow the instructions you'll have a very solid roof rack. I can actually get 3 - 12' recreational kayaks on the roof of my Honda Civic. They're so solid once installed that you can actually grab the racks and rock the entire car back and forth. That'll hold your boats. 5 stars
