This bag is simply amazing! I go to the gym 4 times per week and often go directly from work so I needed a bag that would hold everything I needed to workout and clean-up afterwards. The Ogio Locker Bag does it all: it's got a special compartment for my gym shoes and a shelf to separate them from my towel and workout gear. It fits perfectly in just about any gym's locker (I go to Bally's) and with its front-opening door, you can access everything you need while your bag is IN the locker! I love the fact that it comes with containers for my toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) and also with a comb, brush, and mirror. To top it off, it's light-weight, sturdy, and even comes with a built-in vent so that your wet/sweaty clothes don't get too ripe! LOL! : ) I couldn't be happier with my purchase! GET THIS BAG!! You won't be disappointed! 5 stars The following review received 7 helpful votes out of 15 total votes: Review Date: 2007-12-23 "GREAT LOOKS BUT FELL SHORT IN A FEW DEPARTMENTS" WHEN I SAW THIS BAG ON AMAZON IT APPEARED TO BE EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. A BAG THAT WOULD FIT INTO ANY LOCKER AT THE GYM, OPEN FROM THE SIDE WHILE IN THE LOCKER AND HAVE A SHELF TO CREATE AN UPPER AND LOWER COMPARTMENT TO KEPT ITEMS SEPARATED. MY FIRST DISSAPOINTMENT WAS THE INTERIOR SHELF. AT FIRST I WONDERED IF I HAD GOTTEN A DEFECTIVE BAG. THE "SHELF" IS A PIECE OF VINYL COVERED BOARD. THE BOARD HAS TWO NYLON STRAPS ATTACHED AT ON END IN THE CENTER AND THE STRAPS ARE ANCHORED TO THE FRONT AREA OF THE SIDE OPENING. IT WAS NOT A FIXED POSITION SHELF AS I HAD THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. THEY CERTAINLY COULD HAVE DESIGNED IT THAT WAY. AS FAR AS I COULD TELL, THIS "SHELF" HAS TO REST ON TOP OF WHAT EVER YOU PLACE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE TO REMOVE WHATEVER YOU PLACED ON THE TOP OF THE "SHELF" FIRST TO GET AT WHATS AT THE BOTTOM. I REMEDIED THIS WITH FOUR THICK NYLON ZIP TIES WRAPPED AROUND THE METAL FRAME OF THE BAG AT EACH CORNER. THE "SHELF" NOW RESTS ON THE HEADS OF THE BAG TIES FAIRLY SECURELY AND I CAN ACCESS BOTH COMPARTMENTS AT THE SAME TIME. NEXT PROBLEM I FOUND WAS THE SHOULDER STRAP. TOO SHORT, AT LEAST FOR ME. I PREFER TO CARRY MY BAGS, WHAT EVER KIND "SLING STYLE" OVER THE SHOULDER AND ACROSS THE CHEST. BUT THE SHOULDER STRAP THAT CAME WITH THE BAG DIDN'T SEEM TO HAVE ENOUGH LENGTH TO DO THIS COMFORTABLY. AGAIN, NYLON ZIP TIES TO THE RESCUE. WITH THEM I ADDED ABOUT 4 MORE INCHES OF LENGTH AND THE BAG BECAME MUCH EASIER TO CARRY. THIRD ISSUE, ON THE INSIDE OF THE BAG "DOOR" THEY HAVE SEVERAL POCKETS, THREE ARE FOR THING LIKE A COMB, BRUSH, TOOTHBRUSH, ETC. THEN THERE ARE THREE POCKETS THAT HOLD THREE SMALL EMPTY BOTTLES INTENDED TO BE FILLED WITH SHAMPOO, LIQUID SOAP, ETC. REALLY VERY USELESS AND A WASTE OF SPACE IN MY OPINION. WHO WANTS TO BE TRYING TO REFILL THESE BOTTLES EVERY WEEK OR OTHER WEEK! THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO INTERIOR POCKETS BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD A STORE BOUGHT BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO, BODY WASH, ETC. I KIND OF WONDER IF WHOEVER DESIGNED THIS BAG HAS EVER BELONGED TO A GYM???? 3 stars The following review received 4 helpful votes out of 4 total votes: Review Date: 2007-10-02 "Great bag but beware of heat" This bag is very well designed - it is perfect for the gym locker, with handy compartments and the ventilated top. However, my huge running shoes barely fit in the shoe area (women's size 12.5, men's size 10.5) The following review received 3 helpful votes out of 4 total votes: Review Date: 2006-06-29 "Ogio Locker Bag" I was so excited to find this item on line!!! We had a "very used" Ogio Locker Bag we had been using for approximately 19 years that needed replacing. I love this "locker bag" for carrying my shampoo, conditioner, make up, blow dryer, curling iron, etc. while traveling. 5 stars The following review received 3 helpful votes out of 4 total votes: Review Date: 2007-02-02 "Old model was better" Although I like my new locker bag, my old one was 17 years old, it isn't as usful as my 17 year old model. My original model had a full length "gatorade bottle" holder in the front of the bag. This enabled me to remove the bottle after the bag was in the locker. Now I have to remove the bottle first or wrench my shoulder trying to reach up and over the top of the bag within the locker. I also fear that the new bag is deeper and will not fit in the rather shallow lockers at the university. The old bag fit perfectly. I only replaced my bag of 17 years because the zipper was finally getting stuck sometimes. 4 stars | |
