"We all love these sippies"

I have 4 of these sippies and I find they are a wonderful investment.

With all the publicity about the leaching plastics I wanted an alternative to the plastic route, and the plastic ones we had were needing to be replaced after only a year, due to being dropped and cracking, or the area the valve fit into was cracked. I went looking for an alternative and found these. I started out with ordering 2 and now have 4 to rotate. The sippy spout that came with the first 2 was the Avent anti-spill soft spout and that seemed to work better than the hard Avent anti-spill spout on the 2nd set, My 2 year old initially didn't like the cold steel but the soda can cozies fit the bottles and work great.

I was having a hard time finding a bottle nipple my youngest would accept. From about 3 days old till 4 months he used the 5 oz Gerber Nuk Orthodontic bottle. After hearing the concerns about plastic, and him getting to where he was drinking 7oz at a time I needed to go up a size, but the slow flow nipples he was used to wouldn't fit, and the new ones were faster flow. I tried all sorts of nipples and bottles, when all of a sudden a light went on. The sippy 2 piece adaptor looked about the same size as his old 5oz bottles, sure enough the slow flow nipple fit in and works great. I just ordered some more Stainess steel bottles in the 18oz size for my 2 year old to work into and am going to look at these as a 20 year investment, they work for baby bottles, sippies, and down the road sports water bottles. :-)

They do leak a little if there is pressure in the cup through the vent hole, but it hasn't been enough to concern me, I think they are a great find. 5 stars

"Idea is good, but need to be improved"

I bought two of them for my kids and found out that the part inside the neck of the bottle is still made from plastic (which I wanted to get rid of as much as possible). Also, because you need to screw in the neck insert first, then you can put the cap on top of it, sometimes it just stuck together because the screw fastening part doesn't work very well, and I have to take both parts out and re-do it again. Frustrating.
Also the cups have leaking problem too. 3 stars

"Nice bottle, but the sippy adaptor leaks like crazy"

The actual stainless steel KK bottle is great, not a ding on it, although I am sure it has probably dented up my HW floors. The KK logo completely rubbed off when I washed the bottles in the upper rack of the dishwasher. It doesn't really bother me, but just FYI, and I would think the company would prefer that their logo did not disappear off of their product after a few washings in the DW. The sippy top made by avent is AWFUL! It leaks like crazy, even when I do not fill the cup anywhere close to the top and before the kids have even started to drink from it. I have called KK's customer service to complain and they did was sent me another set of defective sippy top and valves that had the same leaking issue. Oh, and yes I am attaching the sippy top and valve correctly, I asked CS to make sure I was using it correctly. I have been very disappointed with this purchase, since I got two of their sippy cups, and they were certainly NOT cheap. The only positive thing about this is that the bottles are not totally useless. I will have to purchase the sport tops and will still be able to use the bottle when my children outgrow the sippy cup phase, but overall, I have been very annoyed with this product. It is the worst sippy cup I have ever used when it comes to leaks. Buyer beware, the bottle itself is great, the sippy top needs to be completely redesigned. I would recommend KK's other tops, but NOT the sippy top. 2 stars

"Great Product!"

I bought one of these for my 15 month old son and I LOVE it. I plan to get 3 or 4 more. It doesn't leak at all. I had expected some leaking because we have trouble with just about every sippy cup out there but not with this one. I had no troubles with the dishwasher either. I love that I can replace the tops and he can still use this later and not feel like a baby. Great product! 5 stars

"excellent product"

I sought out this product to avoid any possibility of leaching plasticizers in the cup. The product is simple, baby sized and sanitary. The baby took to this right away. I feel comfortable with this, I have no problem cleaning it, and my son has no problem handling it.. 5 stars
