I drink a lot of water throughout the course of the day. In fact, I hardly go anywhere without a wattle bottle. What was most troublesome for me was trying to drive and drink water at the same time. Bottles with the screw-on lids were just too cumbersome: either I couldn't get the lid off with one hand while trying to watch the road, or if I was a passenger, it never failed that the driver would accelerate while I was taking a drink and because of the large mouth of the bottle, I'd end up spilling water all over myself. This bottle was the perfect solution. It is truly spill proof, and I can easily drink out of it while driving, walking, or wherever. And its dishwasher safe! This bottle is excellent if you are active and tend to drink a lot of water such as I do. The spill proof cap is a great benefit too! Very durable also. I've already dropped it twice and has not suffered in the slightest. I had a nalgene knock-off that eventually started to crack, so I was on the lookout for a new bottle. I love this camelback because a) it's not too bulky but can still hold 32 oz of water! b) fits in my car cupholder (toyota corolla) and c) it has a straw and spout so i don't have to tip the bottle over to drink. you never really think about how much effort goes into trying to drink out of a bottle of water until you drink out of this bottle. it's totally leakproof - at first I was a bit skeptical, but I've turned this bottle over many times to test this property and it's won me over. I really like the easiness of the bite-spout and feel that I can easily drink more water this way. It's very inexpensive and I know I'll have this for a long time. 5 stars The following review received 6 helpful votes out of 9 total votes: Review Date: 2007-06-11 "Great bottle, but size matters" This is a great water bottle. I do have one issue with it in that it is too tall. I have a faucet mounted water filter and I have to tilt this bottle to fill it under the faucet, which means I can't really fill it all the way. The bottle is just a tad too tall. It's top-rack dishwasher safe, but again, it's a little tall and will only fit in my top-rack if I place it just right. I like the way the bottle works though and have ordered the 0.75 L and 0.50 L versions for use in other situations where I don't need a full 1.0 L. It is perfect for me. I love the no leak feature and the straw seems to hold up under lots of biting. Wish it were a little smaller at the bottom so it would fit into my car holder better.
