Initally surprised to see the, "made in China" label but they look great, are well made and very comfortable. Extra room in the toe as advertised. The suggested retail price is somewhat exaggerated which seems to be the norm these days. no hesitation to recommend them for light hiking and walking. 5 stars

This is an excellent boot and an excellent value for the money. The buyer should know that Garmin boots are a little stiff at first, and thus need to be broken in before hiking. Once broken in, they are as good as you can buy for the money. 4 stars

For $40 you really cannot lose here. The boots are sturdy and appear to be well made despite being from China. While the are not "waterproof" they will be very water resistant and with a bit of spray will make hiking in the Pacific Northwest worry free. They do start out a bit stiff, so be prepared to break them in before a big hike. 4 stars

they were tight to my feet and not comfotable for a boot $100 garmont is a good boot maker these are sturdy& waterproof .. but they are stiff and uncomfortable 1 star

This is an excellent product. I would reccomend it to any hiking / trekkng aficianado. Once the shoes are broken in 8-10 days, it is a smooth ride. You can feel the spring in your step, every step.

My only grouse against this shoe is that is it not available in W (or EE) size for congenitally unlucky soles (pun intended) like mine. This is America!! and I thought I had choice. 4 stars
