Duofold makes excellent thermal underwear for those cold, cold days and nights. The cotton/polyester two layered fabric is actually extremely well made and this underwear lasts years with proper care. The fabric is just as soft as they say it is; and this thermal underwear bottom helps to keep you much warmer than you think it would. It appears flimsy and floppy before you put it on--but after you're wearing it you'll notice a huge difference. You'll be a lot warmer with it! It also does not bunch or wrinkle easily. The elastic waistband is comfortable and as long as you get the right size for you it never feels too tight around the waist.

As for maintenance, I just put mine in the clothes washer and dryer and everything always comes out fine. If you get this in navy blue or any other color and you have concerns about the color "bleeding" onto white colored clothing, just wash this with garments that are not white. You'll be fine. In addition, it shrinks very little.
