"Unsatisfied"

The pedometer on this watch advances with every move of the wrist! I was sitting in the bathroom and it said I took 10 steps! I emailed Amazon it was defective and I wanted to return it and I heard nothing from them.

Needless to say, I will not be using Amazon again. 1 star

"New balance VIA wrist pedometer"

I received my pedometer watch from amazon and also emailed them that it did not work but got no reply. The time works good but the pedometer does not work worth a dam. Sometimes it will click in a few steps then stop. 1 star

"Accuracy"

As part of my daily exercise program, I try to walk at least 5 miles a day. Up until now, I have been unable to find a pedometer that offered accuracy as well as reliability. Well, the New Balance VIA Wrist Pedometer comes about as close as I have been able to get when it comes to accuracy. The first day I put the Pedometer to the test and it passed with flying colors. I took a walk and counted my steps and to my surprise, it was off only 1 step. All the other pedometers I have used in the past weren't even close or hardly registered any steps at all. The VIA worked very well. If there is a down side, it is that you will have to advance the screen to save your step count if you want to do some other chore. If you don't the pedometer is sensitive to any arm movements and it will continue to add on steps even though you may not be walking. Also, I noticed the the stop watch timer's accuracy leaves something to be desired. I compared it to a regular stop watch while walking and there was a noticeable discrepancy between my hand held stop watch and the pedometers stop watch. So, if you are looking for a pedometer to record your number of steps while you walk, this maybe the one. Just remember to advance the screen when not walking or you will get an inaccurate step count. 4 stars

"sturdy companion"

I've had this watch for several years. For simple walking it works well, the watch screen is easy to see, and it's easy to set. My only complaint is when the battery wears down..about once a year, the replacement has to be done by a watchmaker as I haven't a clue. It's not just "drop in" another battery. 4 stars
