Everytime I look at this watch - I get a positive pulse! I also have the black Timex Expedition Tide-Compass-Temp, but Timex Men's Expedition E-Compass Titanium Leather Watch has the following benefits:
1. lighter due to the titanium case.
2. illumination (Indiglo) is bright and covers almost all the dial, in contrast to the black Tide-Compass-Temp, where it is too dim and illuminates only a narrow strip of the temperature gauge. Both watches have excellent luminescent hands - it is surprising how helpful this feature is - e.g. when entering a darker space.
3. The leather strap is much better!
Both watches have very clear, big dials - just an exhilaration to look at! 5 stars

I needed a gift for my bf for our anniversary and since he is awful with direction, I thought this was the perfect gift. The watch is very well made and my bf loved it. He was really happy with the compass function and the back light was a nice touch. 5 stars

So far I have had no problems. Setting the watch up with the date and time was easy. The band it comes with is surprisingly comfortable. The compass feature is accurate and easy to use. I recommend this to anyone that likes being outdoors, but it is a good looking watch and not too bulky so you can definitely wear this on a date or whatever. 5 stars

Watch works great. Easy to calibrate the compass. Nice larger face and wider band. Great looking watch at a great price. A definite buy for anyone looking for a brown banded, neat functioning watch. 5 stars
