"Top watch for sports - sensational price"

I have this watch for 3 month now, and used it a lot in outdoor sports. The functions are simple and great, especially the lap timer, and 30 laps are more than enough! It approved itself in cross-country running, cycling as well as skiing, and I am sure its water resistancy is also great. The display is perfectly readably from every possible view angle, with and without light. The menues and fuctions are easy to use and self-explaining.
This watch is relatively small and therefore does not disturb while exercising.
After all this watch is great for outdoor people and athletes who only need basic function (eg. no heart frequency) for an amazingly low price. I like this watch better than several Casio's that I owned before. 5 stars

"Great watch value if you don't lose it."

This is an excellent sport watch for the money. I got it for Christmas and was very pleased with the features, durability, low profile, and light weight. The strap is some kind of composite material and has a strap retainer feature. While quite comfortable, the strap has a habit of coming out of the strap retainer. Mine did frequently until it apparently fell off of my wrist while skiing on President's Day weekend. I'm still considering repurchasing this watch as a replacement. 4 stars

"Takes a licking and then some"

I bought this watch because the last Timex ironman watch I had was worn out. I bought the last one nine years ago!!! These watches are great. I wore my first one on the flight line when I was in the Navy and I've worn my second one on the mean streets of Kansas City MO for nine years as a cop. If you're looking for a great watch that will be there when you need it.... buy this watch. As always, Amazon was great. 5 stars

"Great watch, fair price"

Among all the Ironman watches that had the features I wanted, this was the most reasonably priced at the time I purchased it.

After a month of wear, I have had no problems. All the funtions work properly, as do the buttons. I have as yet to take it swimming, so I can't vouch for the water resistance just yet.

The self-resetting timer function is great. When I lift, I do really slow reps--this device is great for maintaining that discipline--I just set it to beep every 10 seconds (or whatever), so my pacing is perfect.

All in all, a good buy. 5 stars

"Great watch, but a little heavy and bulky, but still recommended"

The first time I wore this watch, I was actually training for a marathon, and the watch was quite heavier and bulkier than I expected. For the first 7 practice marathon runs, I actually got blisters and scraped from the watch, perhaps because I have a relatively small wrist. At first I got around this by wearing a rubber band under the watch to keep it from moving, but I actually got used to the watch and it no longer slides on my wrist, so it's fine now. I ran a marathon this past weekend with it, and the watch never bothered me for a second, so this is a great watch! 5 stars
