It is also accurate: each time I walk I count 100 steps to make sure it is in a good position and reading well, and it has not disappointed me yet. This is a very basic pedometer that counts only steps and miles, so if that is all you need, this one is great for the price! 4 stars The following review received 14 helpful votes out of 14 total votes: Review Date: 2006-05-01 "great price, small, accurate" I've been using this model for about a year. I have to place mine further back than they recommended for accurate readings. Mine is on my hip (when my left arm is hanging limp, it is right next to my arm)and it reads accurately. I like it because it is very small and unobtrusive - I wear it all day. Recommended. 5 stars The following review received 12 helpful votes out of 12 total votes: Review Date: 2006-02-22 "Pedometer with lease -- inexpensive" I had lost three other pedometers. I found this one "/with leash" and have had an excellent experience. The leash must be wrapped over and around my belt, around the pedometer and clamped onto a belt loop -- very successful. Before I wrapped it, the pedometer fell off the belt and gave no reading. Swinging pedometers don't register! 5 stars The following review received 11 helpful votes out of 11 total votes: Review Date: 2006-02-23 "poor quality" After a week of use it didn't count steps properly. I would walk a whole block and when I checked it has only recorded five steps. Then sometimes on going up steps, it would register more than the number of steps. I stopped using it after a week. It is not worth it. 1 star The following review received 9 helpful votes out of 10 total votes: Review Date: 2007-03-07 "You get What you Pay For" This pedometer is not very reliable. It is very inaccurate in its count. It counts a step at the littlest movement. I put it on counted out a hundred steps and checked it and it said 260. Just moving it to look at it recorded more steps. If you want something really accurate spend more money. 2 stars | |
