I attempted to buy chips from these guys. Unfortunately, after three weeks I still didn't have anything arriving in the mail, and it's impossible to get a hold of anyone at this company. After many e-mails and almsot another month I was able to at least get my money back, with no explanation of what had happened to my order. Ridiculous that these guys are even allowed to list on Amazon. Beware! 1 star

I thought I was getting a brand new set! When it arrived the case was all bent up and cheap! the chips were all brand new though and so were the cards/dice/dealer button. But before they shipped it took a long time due to confusion on their part...

As stated in Empire11's August 18th review, there seem to be imperfections with about half of the white chips in my case. The white and blue colors on these chips look as if they were not as carefully molded and do not have the same smoothness on the edges like the others. But not to worry, the RED BLUE GREEN and BLACK chips are quite smooth and made well. My friends joke, "Its just more insentive to win BIG!".

Also, the only false advertisement is the foam on the top-inner wall of the box, not having those protruding cushions like the picture. Instead it is a flat piece that, nonetheless, does its job.

Other than these minor differences, I can say without a doubt that this is a very satisfying buy if you need a good number of chips without breaking the bank.

First, if your going to buy this set, buy from pokergoods. They answer emails in five minutes (almost like IM'ing them) and they shipped the same day I ordered. Don't bother with the express delivery... I got mine in 3 days regular.

Now for the set. The set is really nice, but I should point out a few things to the picky consumer. The chips are solid, but some have minor imperfections, with small bits of plastic still attached to a handfull of them. The chips also have a small groove near the middle (the circle thing), and thus is not like a perfectly flat casino chip.

The case looks very nice. It honestly looks as if, when you open it, there should be a buch of Hundred dollar bills inside. That being said, the outside doesn't lock easily (keys are included, but the locks were messed up on my set). On another note, the keys seems a bit thin, and I'm a little paranoid that one of them might snap off and lock up the set. Regardless, the case was very secure in regards to the latches. Inside, the dice tend to get out of their compartment and go elswhere, as the slot does not tightly keep them in place. The foam top of the case was not secured, but that is easily fixed with some tape/glue, so its not really a factor.

My only main complaint are the cards. The cards included are absolute garbage, and in my opinion the only thing I really disliked about the set (Maybe it was because I lost my first game because of lousy draws... lol, but really). Get Kem cards if you can (seperatley, of course)

All in all, there are minor imperfections, but the set is rather splendid. The chips really add a whole new dimension of professionalism to playing poker (especially if you've been playing with plastic) and I really enjoy rounds spent on Tuesday nights watching ESPN's World Series Of Poker and playing poker. So if your looking for a good deal, this one's it, as long as you don't mind the really minor imperfections of the set.
