I ordered this and received two boxes of what looks like hand-cut mattress foam, one of which was dirtied during packaging (a large dirt streak was underneath the wrapping) and a mattress cover. Call me crazy and misguided, but my definition of a "mattress" (buttressed by the pictures of the product) is a single-piece item. ABSOLUTLY!! the shipping was extreamly fast, I got it in 5 days plus the shipping is free. the free pillow works great and the matress topper is a great extra. For at great price you'll sleep better for years. Who wants to sleep on a bunch of stiff metal coils anyway? 5 stars Review Date: 2007-09-27 "Horrible! Cheap! Misleading..." I see that the listing has added information about this mattress...after I ordered it. The photo is very misleading...and the mattress is simply a piece of cusion foam with a mattress topper foam and a store bought mattress pad cover...which I already had. I have always trusted things bought through AMazon - but now I will watch MUCh more carefully!! I am returning this as soon as I can figure out how to put it back in the two boxes it came in. I wondered why I received two small boxes after I had ordered a twin mattress. Awful. I would have been happier with a mattress topper on my old beat up mattress... 1 star Review Date: 2008-02-22 "Pretty good deal" I bought this mattress for my 11 year old. I read the reviews, which were very helpful. I did not have any trouble unpacking it, just be very careful not to cut into the foam. I we let it air out for a couple of days and then set it up for her. She loves it. She was having trouble with the shoulder she sleeps on but not anymore. I will be ordering another single and my oldest daughter may want one as well. Very Good Deal! Very pleased with the customer server as well. 4 stars | |
