Not quite as tight as the all spandex compression shorts, these are best for baseball (cup holder is a plus), but less good for football and other sports that benefit from super-tight compression that spandex provides. 3 stars

These pants are long (almost to my knee), but then again I'm not a tall guy. They definitely get the job done and the price was right. However, they are a little thinner than normal sliding pants, but I don't expect that to be too large of a problem unless you're sliding on gravel. 4 stars
