i bought this and it is made of good quality but it was really loose on my leg and i was about 5'7 when i got it and it still uncomfortably hanged over my knee. 4 stars

The holster was much too big for the 1911 A1 acp as shown in the photograph and the adjustable strap that holds it in place keeps coming loose I am having it completely reworked by a local upholsterer
and although I have thin legs the straps just fit (not recommended) 1 star

Would recommend seller to include more accurate measurements of product, as the 9" described applies to the actual holster length without belt strap included. Actual overall product lenth is approx 15 inches. Would also recommend seller to include min-max circumfrance measurements for thigh straps so buyers can make a better decision on purchasing.

As another reviewer has said, the strap attaching the holster to your belt is long. Keep in mind that this strap does NOT get any shorter than 6 inches, so for many people this will leave the gun hanging very low above your knee or even partially over the knee. I am 5'9" and also had this problem. However, this product was not purchased with function in mind. I purchased it as a costume accessory. So to fix this problem I wore a 2nd belt above my pants and attached the holsters to THAT, and then my shirt covered over this strange customization. This fix worked just fine for me. If you do not have the ability to apply this same fix, or do not intend on wearing very high waisted pants with these holsters, I would not recommend the purchase. Takes a little bit of tricky working to figure out how to make the thigh straps as big as needed (on myself I required 21" and 19"), but it will expand large enough to fit most people. Otherwise, I very much liked this holster. Very well made and durable, and surprisingly comfortable. I did not feel it was 'loose' at all.

Overall I would highly recommend this product to anyone in need of holsters for costume use. However, if you are in need of holsters for real guns (and thus function & perfect fit is essential) I would recommend to pass on. 4 stars

I bought the leg holster for my husband and he loves using it, pretty easy to snap on and always stays in place. 5 stars
