We bought this scooter for our son when he was four or so and a little bit in need of extra stability and confidence. This scooter provided that in spades, and when he got older and ready for a razor, it still came in handy for rougher terrain like park hills. The older kids might have trouble finding room for both of their feet. This scooter couldn't be more sturdy--a great buy. 5 stars

This scotter is definitely different than all the neighbor kids have! We bought it for our son's 3rd b-day and he started to get the hang of it before the end of the summer. I don't know that I'd invest the kind of money again, but we'll see...this summer I think he'll do much better on it now that he's a little bigger and more confident. The only downside I've seen so far is the kickstand comes off too easily and the break doesn't leave much room for the back foot...even for a toddler. I don't think there's any question that this scooter will be used by our 2 year-old and our "yet-to-arrive" child when the time comes. It is very durable and I do like the adjustable handles and wide wheels. 4 stars
