Nicely designed pouch holds keys etc. without rattling. Bottle shape and position is good. Comfortable while running. Straps hold the bottles securely but I've found it takes two hands to get it back in. Only complaint in the bottles is the pull-tops don't stay open for me. I have to hold the bottle open with my teeth while trying to drink. Could be just the ones I got. Bottle opening is large enough for your basic ice cube. I'm not sorry I bought it. Nice for the longer runs. Better than the big 20oz bottle holders. 4 stars Review Date: 2007-06-28 "Awesome Weightless Water Belt" I didn't think that I would need water for my run but I really do that I run for up to 8 miles (at least for right now) hoping to run farther. The belt is so light even w/the bottles filled - it actually feels good around my waist - I have needed the water to replinish myself during my run - so glad that I bought this - awesome product (I think) and it's not expensive at all. 5 stars The following review received 0 helpful votes out of 1 total votes: Review Date: 2007-10-18 "Broke in the middle of a long run!" This was a horrible product! Not only were the bottles difficult to get out of their holders while I was running, but the entire belt broke in half (came unsewn) in the middle of a 14 mile run! It was frustrating and left me very thirsty! I am returning this product. 1 star Review Date: 2007-11-07 "Very comfortable belt" This belt lives up to its reputation. It is very comfortable to wear and the bottles don't move at all. It's also not hot. 5 stars Review Date: 2008-02-03 "Won't stay in place" I bought one of these Fuelbelts from a local running store last spring because my long runs were hitting the 10+ mile point and it was warming up so I needed to be able to take fluid with me. Fuelbelts run very small - I have a 26 inch waist and 32 inch hips and the Small was too tight so I ended up going with a Medium. The Medium fit just fine as long as I wasn't actually moving. Once I started to run, it would shift until it was around my waist and completely loose. So the first 3 or 4 miles I'd have to slow or stop to readjust the Fuelbelt. Very irritating. It would stay in place once I got sweaty enough. I have heard that many women have had the same problem with the Fuelbelt so I am wondering if it is made more for men. This spring and summer the Fuelbelt will be retired and I am going to try one of the hand held flasks. Hopefully I will have better luck that. 1 star | |
